Specialising in free range, herb fed chickens and turkeys
Our Christmas turkey has been awarded a 2026 Great Taste Award.
Great Taste is judged blind, so it was won on flavour alone. It belongs to the birds, the land and everyone who helps us rear them the slow way.
Meet the award winning turkey
Slow grown and pasture reared on the rolling hills of Hampshire.
Our turkeys are reared for 26 weeks, never rushed. They are fed a diverse range of locally grown grains, plus seasonal produce such as surplus veg from our neighbouring market garden, and pumpkins and apples from local orchards.
From the day they arrive to your Christmas table. Swipe to follow along.

Reared here at Dummer Down Farm, at their own pace.
Our chickens have access to pasture 24 hours a day. They grow slowly on antibiotic-free, non-GMO feed, on land we farm regeneratively, and you can taste the difference that time and fresh air make.
First generation farmers, since 2016.
We started in 2016 with just ten turkeys in the back garden. Today we rear around 250 a year at Dummer Down Farm, a stone's throw from home.
We do things slowly, because we think that's how good food is made: birds with room to roam, time to grow, and a diet drawn from the fields and orchards around us.
Small, but mighty. Tim and Bryony
